The Northern Lights dance often across the night sky with stunning colors. A northern location is the most important factor when you want to see the Northern Lights. Our location is in the far north of Lapland, in Hetta, Enontekiö. If the sky is clear, it is more likely to see the Northern Lights during the night than not. The mountains in the west often block some of the clouds. There is not any light pollution around the glamping. Together, these conditions provide excellent opportunities for seeing the Northern Lights.
The silence, the surrounding nature and the atmosphere make the stay memorable even on cloudy nights. However, we cannot underestimate the magical experience that the Northern Lights bring, which our guests often get to enjoy.
Statistically, our region sees auroras on around 75% of clear nights from autumn to spring. The western fells help with cloud conditions, and the complete darkness around Arctic Nature Glamping makes the sky easy to observe when the weather is clear.

Traditional Finnish Outdoor Sauna
The sauna next to the glamping tent is a traditional Finnish outdoor sauna, just like the ones we use in our wilderness cabins where there is no running water. At Arctic Nature Glamping, the sauna is not just a convenience, it’s part of the experience.
We will light the sauna together and show you how it works. It usually takes a couple of hours to heat, depending on the weather. You’ll keep the fire going yourself by adding logs until the sauna is ready.
Once it’s hot, the sauna is yours to enjoy for as long as you like, most people stay for an hour or two. You can wash yourself in the sauna using hot water from the tank around the stove, mixed with cold water to get just the right temperature. This is how we do it in the wilderness. Towels are provided.
The sauna is available as an optional service from the day after your arrival.

If the reservation is cancelled 8 to 30 days before check in, 50% of the total reservation price will be charged. Before arrival, please read the check-in instructions carefully. You will also receive guidance for your stay.

Check-in at 17:00
Check-in is at 17:00, unless another time has been agreed in advance. The tent is prepared for your arrival, with the fire lit in the stove so that the tent is warm when you arrive.
If you wish to arrive later, please let us know no later than the previous day. If your arrival time changes during your journey, please contact us and give us your new estimated arrival time, so we can keep the tent warm for you.
Arctic Nature Glamping is located about 15 km from Hetta, surrounded by quiet northern nature. Most guests arrive by rental car, which gives the easiest and most flexible way to enjoy the area. During your stay, you live close to northern nature in a simple and comfortable way. You keep the tent warm by adding firewood to the wood-burning stove, also during the night when needed. The private dry outdoor toilet is located close to the tent. There is no running water or kitchen in the tent, but breakfast and dinner can be ordered and delivered to you. If you stay for two or three nights, you can also book the traditional Finnish outdoor sauna, where you can wash in the Finnish way.
You can also join our small-group activities in Lapland’s wilderness. Choose from snowmobile safaris, Northern Lights tours and other seasonal experiences. All activities can be found and booked easily in our online store, and it is simple to add them when reserving your glamping stay.
